St. Peter’s Episcopal has a vibrant youth community with programs for children, adults and families.  Our congregation participates in several ministries (see below).

Youth

Nursery: A bright, fun nursery with toys and rocking chairs is available for parents with infants and toddlers.

Sunday School: For children in grade school, separate class for younger and older children.  Sunday School starts at 10:30am form September-May in the youth rooms downstairs.

Worship Service

Youth participate in the service most Sundays by being an Acolyte.   Also, youth help with presenting the offering and gifts at Offertory time.

On fifth Sundays, there is a Youth service in which the youth participate in readings, ushering, singing, offerings, presenting the gifts at the  Offertory as well as serving as an Acolyte.

Youth participate in various church ministries.

Offertory boys

The youth participated in  raising money for The Episcopal Relief and Development’s for Life during Lent. The youth goal was to reach  $500.  See the April Newsletter for more information.

There are variety of programs youth can participate throughout the year.

 

 

 

Families

Join coffee hour after worship. There is usually a variety of snacks, drinks and good fellowship.

Young Adults and Families can participate in a number of activities throughout the year, such as:

Zoo Scavenger Hunt
Sledding
Bowling
First Friday Night Out
Ladies Night In
Wine-tastings & more!

Ministries

Andrews House – St. Peter’s founded this ministry, which  is shared with other congregations and organizations. Six members of the St. Peter’s parish serve on the Board of Directors of Andrew House.

Partners in Prayers – is a group of people who pray regularly, typically on a daily basis and on their own, for anyone who ask for prayers.

Each Sunday food is collected from parishioners and donated to People in Need (PIN)

Alcohol Anonymous hold meetings in our meeting room.
