Fourth Thursday Women’s Group: The group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month.10am to 12pm in the church library.

Events

Mardi Gras Party was held on Feb. 28th.  We had freshly made dessert crepes instead of the traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake supper.  Most dressed up in Mardi Gras style.  Good food, music, games and fellowship was enjoyed by all.

Many families attend the first Family Fun Festival sponsored by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church,  First Presbyterian Church, Andrews House, First Baptist Church,   William Street United  Methodist Church, Family Promise, Helpline, Women’s City Club, and Zion United Church of Christ.  There was free food and many fun activities; face painting, crafts, music, dancing, jumper house, martial arts demonstration and much more. Past Events

During Lent a Sunday morning Bible Study was held.  There was a special art exhibition, Take Up Your Cross. The youth participated in raising money for The Episcopal Relief and Development.

Ministries

Andrews House – This ministry is shared with other congregations and organizations. Six members of the St. Peter’s parish serve on the Board of Directors of Andrews House.

Each Sunday food is collected from parishioners and donated to People in Need (PIN).

Alcoholics_Anonymous-Converted

Alcohol Anonymous & Narcotics Anonymous hold meetings in our meeting room.

 

Partners in Prayer – is a group of people who pray regularly, typically on a daily basis and on their own, for anyone who ask for prayers.  Contact Joe Kersey if you would like to join the group or have prayers to add.
